Catholic Theological Union has a rich tradition of academic excellence and of preparing men and women for a life of ministry and service.
- If you are interested in serving as a minister, consider the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, or a Master of Arts in Ministry.
- If you would like to teach theology, prepare for further graduate work, or seek a position in the broader Church or faith-based organization, CTU offers the Master of Arts in Theology – General Academic or Research.
- If you already have earned a Master of Divinity degree (or equivalent) and have served as a minister in the Church for more than five years, CTU offers the Ecumenical Doctor of Ministry.
All degree programs offer specializations or concentrations that allow you to focus on specific areas of interest. CTU degrees are fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). CTU is committed to making sure all of its students receive a quality education. For more information on the ways CTU honors this commitment and holds itself accountable as an institution, read CTU’s Statement on Educational Effectiveness.
