MACC Mission: The Mexican American Catholic College’s mission is to empower and educate leaders for service in a culturally diverse Church and society by offering a biliterate, multicultural formation program that can lead to a college degree in Pastoral Ministry.

Summary: MACC invites qualified applications for the grant-funded position of Project Coordinator of Stabilitas: Renewing Rural Ministry. The coordinator will also serve as Professor of Practical Theology (open-rank), teaching two courses per semester while managing the project. This five-year grant aims to build the capacity of rural dioceses to invest in the formation of permanent deacons and lay ecclesial ministers, in partnership with Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary (SOT/Sem).

Directly supporting the Director of the Stabilitas project at Saint John’s SOT/Sem, the principal responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include collaboration with representatives of partner dioceses, assessment of formation needs throughout the upper midwestern states, curriculum and/or program design, and assessment of best practices for ministerial accompaniment. The position requires administrative coordination, managing all subgrant budgets and activities, supporting recruitment for MACC and Saint John’s collaborative ministry formation programming, and providing annual reports to the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Seasoned experience in lay ecclesial ministry formation, and/or diaconal formation, as well as immersive ministry experience in multicultural, rural settings, is preferred.

As a faculty member, the coordinator will also teach 2 courses per semester in MACC’s core curriculum. Teaching assignments will depend on one’s area of specialization but may include Moral Theology, Catechesis, Spirituality, Pastoral Care and Mental Health Ministry, Intercultural Competencies, and/or Rural Ministry. The total teaching assignment will be no more than four courses distributed between fall and spring semesters.

Reporting directly to the Academic Dean while working closely with the Senior Director of Programs, the coordinator will advance the ecclesial mission of MACC and Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary, contributing to the growth of their programs at a national level.

This position is grant-funded through 2030, is subject to change, and may be impacted by external factors.

The Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, aka Joliet Franciscans, are seeking a part-time Justice Promoter to lead our JPIC Commission and Human Trafficking Joint Franciscan Committee. It is preferred that this position be filled by someone in the general Chicago/Joliet and surrounding areas. The Joliet Franciscans were founded and are still based in Illinois with a presence in a few other states and in Brazil. We are active members with LCWR and the Franciscan Federation. The mission of JPIC is to advance justice, peace and care of creation by prayer, study, education, collaboration and action. The promoter would be asked to carry out current JPIC work and initiate new endeavors that allow us to live our mission and to be relevant.

Essential Duties

• Lead mostly by zoom both the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission and Human Trafficking Joint Franciscan Committee
• Support and manage current JPIC involvements so they are alive and growing…Hands on with some; encouragement with others
• Plan, market and lead JPIC events
• Develop new JPIC initiatives
• Use congregation communication media to promote JPIC work
• Promote awareness and involvement of sisters and associates
• At times engage the University of St. Francis and Joliet Catholic Academy and broader community
• Collaborate with other JPIC groups of other women religious congregations (JCWR)
• Collect archival material and prepare annual report for the archives
Some Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related fields; master’s degree preferred.
Work experience in the field of justice.
Comfortable with technology and working with groups

The Communications Manager supports the Marketing and Communications Department by executing and coordinating day-to-day communication projects across digital platforms. This role is highly collaborative and flexible, assisting with social media management, email newsletters, basic graphic design, and communications support for faculty events and initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Media

  • Assist with planning, drafting, scheduling, and publishing content for social media platforms
  • Monitor engagement and help maintain a consistent brand voice across channels
  • Support promotional efforts for campus initiatives, events, and announcements

Email & Newsletter Communications

  • Create, format, and schedule email campaigns and newsletters using Mailchimp
  • Maintain email lists and support basic reporting on open rates and engagement
  • Collaborate on content development and proofreading

Design & Visual Content

  • Create clean, on-brand visuals, including graphics and short videos, for faculty events, announcements, and digital promotions.
  • Adapt and refine existing templates and materials to ensure consistency and impact.

General Communications Support

  • Provide project-based communications support as needs arise
  • Assist with event promotion, internal communications, and special initiatives

Coordinate with faculty and staff to gather information and ensure timely delivery of materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 3+ years professional experience working in communications, marketing, media management
  • Experience in higher education or nonprofit communications or Catholic spaces preferred
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing tools; Canva; Adobe (photoshop, acrobat, etc.).
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
  • Basic understanding of branding and marketing principles and interest in storytelling and audience engagement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Plan Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management on all aspects of the institutional strategic plan to attract new learners and increase enrollment, including expanding networks, partnerships, and innovation in recruitment strategies.

  • Operational Leadership:

Oversee and optimize the day-to-day management of the enrollment operations, including tracking student inquiries, managing prospect pipelines, and ensuring efficient application processing using Salesforce and Jenzabar SONIS systems (SIS). Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management to identify improvements in operational processes and CRM system integration.

  • Recruitment Plan Execution and Oversight:

Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and executing innovative recruitment strategies that align with the strategic goals of CTU. This includes fostering relationships with dioceses, religious communities, and other institutional partners. Evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies and recommend enhancements to the Director of Enrollment Management. This also includes playing a central tole in the planning and execution of an annual Accepted Student Days yield event.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and supervise the Admissions Graduate Assistant and other relevant staff members, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture that is responsive to the needs of prospective students.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making:

Provide ongoing data-informed insights and reports to the Director of Enrollment Management, aiding in decision-making and adjustments to the strategic recruitment and retention initiatives. Leverage enrollment data to forecast trends, optimize resource allocation, and track progress toward strategic goals using the Salesforce system.

  • Public Representation and Relationship Building:

Serve as a senior representative of CTU at regional, national, and international recruitment events, strengthening the institution’s presence and mission. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with CTU’s mission and vision.

  • Enrollment Process and Policy Development:

Collaborate on the continuous improvement of enrollment policies and procedures, ensuring they are efficient and in line with CTU’s commitment to innovation, student focus, and diversity. Work with key stakeholders, including faculty and the marketing team, to develop content and materials that reflect CTU’s values and unique offerings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in higher education, theology, ministry, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enrollment management or higher education administration, with a strong understanding of strategic enrollment or similar initiatives.
  • Experience managing teams, supervising staff, and leading enrollment or similar initiatives at a high level.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and operational leadership.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven reporting (experience with Jenzabar SONIS preferred).
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build lasting relationships.
