Thriving in Ministry

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Ministerial Coaching

Ministerial Coaching will be available through Thriving in Ministry for a limited number of people. Coaching sessions will be held on location at CTU or online via zoom. The length and frequency of coaching sessions will be based on your agreement with your coach. Marian Diaz, DMin (trained by Co-Active Coaching) or Angela Swain, MDiv, PhD in Business Psychology (trained by Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching)  will serve as your coach to inspire and challenge you on your journey to ministerial well-being.

Please note that coaching is distinct from both spiritual direction and therapy. A coaching relationship provides a space for people in ministry to explore questions related to overall balance, fulfillment and obstacles to their thriving in life and ministry.  Coaching conversations seek to help you make empowering choices and to support you in taking action on those decisions. If you think that this process would be helpful for you, please fill in the form below. If you have general questions about ministerial coaching please contact Marian Diaz.

Upon completiition, you will receive an email to schedule a time for an initial conversation with one of the coaches.
