Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family (MSF)

Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family is a religious congregation founded in 1905 in Mohylew, Belarus by Blessed Boleslawa Lament. Following the legacy of our foundress, sisters strive not only to live as Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, but also to bring the Holy Family’s virtues and values to wherever it is possible. The charism of the congregation is to work for the unity of Christ’s Church to fulfill Jesus’ prayer from Last Supper, “…that they all may be one…” (Jn 17:21). Sisters offer their everyday life’s prayers, work in education, nursing, parish ministry, community and professed life to break the division and bring all God’s sons and daughters together. The congregation has its communities in Poland, USA, Italy, Belarus, Lithuania, Kenya, Zambia, and Tanzania.
