Maryknoll Lay Missioners is a Catholic organization inspired by the mission of Jesus to live and work with poor communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, responding to basic needs and helping to create a more just and compassionate world. Our missioners make an initial commitment of 3 ½ years of service with the poor overseas. The minimum age to become a lay missioner is 23 years old and we accept single men & women, married couples, and families.
