CTU values the perspectives and experiences that women bring to leadership positions in the Church. This past September 2022, the Bernardin Center hosted a crucial conversation called Discerning About Women and the Diaconal Vocation, where CTU alum Bernadette Raspante and current student and staff member Sr. Chioma Ahanihu joined scholar Phyllis Zagano in exploring the possibilities for women to become deacons in the Catholic Church.
