CTU is committed to the study of biblical literature and languages and how it informs more responsive ministry and commitment to justice. Dr. Ferdinand Okorie, Assistant Professor of New Testament Studies and Academic Dean, created this popular course, Black Biblical Perspectives, to interpret scripture from the perspective of people of color around the world.

The Biblical Study and Travel program brings students into the world classroom, providing them hands-on encounter with non-literary sources that have implications for how we understand biblical texts. Students visit historical and spiritual sites that have meaning for Christian heritage, but also for other faiths and cultures.
