Statement of Solidarity and Support for the Walk for Peace
Statement of Solidarity and Support
We are all aware of the violence that plagues parts of our beloved city of Chicago. As those who profess faith in Christ, the Prince of Peace, we also search to do something to witness to that peace and manifest our support for those whose lives have been cruelly shattered by senseless violence. This Good Friday, April 14, I will join Cardinal Cupich and other religious leaders in Englewood in the Walk for Peace. I invite the members of the CTU community to join us in this walk and by their presence stand in solidarity with all of those who fear the violence of our streets.
