Honoring the Legacy of Sheila McLaughlin: Finding Peace and Justice in Contemporary Liturgical Ministry

Sheila McLaughlin directed the Bernardin Center at CTU from 2001-2017. During her tenure, she encouraged interfaith dialogue and formed young adults in Cardinal Bernardin’s collaborative, consultative style.

Sheila’s passion for preparing liturgies was unparalleled and she shared her gifts with the hundreds of young adults who participated in the Peacebuilders, Catholics on Call and Bernardin Scholars
programs and initiatives.
