Catholic Theological Union (CTU) is honored to celebrate the graduating Class of 2025 at the 57th Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. CST

Founded in 1968 and located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, CTU is one of the leading Roman Catholic graduate schools of theology and ministry in the United States. Rooted in the Catholic tradition and enriched by an intercultural and ecumenical environment, CTU prepares students—lay and religious—to serve as leaders in the Church and society. With a commitment to academic excellence, social justice, and interfaith dialogue, CTU educates scholars, ministers, and global advocates who embody faith in action.

This special occasion will recognize the academic achievements and ministry commitments of our graduates as they prepare to serve communities around the world. CTU graduates go on to become pastoral leaders, educators, chaplains, and missionaries, carrying forward the institution’s mission of service and theological reflection in diverse contexts.

Due to limited seating, the in-person ceremony is by invitation only. However, we welcome all family members, friends, and members of the CTU community to join us virtually via Zoom.
