About

Marian is an alumna of CTU with a broad career of service in ministry formation and theological education.  Her work has involved engagement at all levels of the church structure, from the local to the global. She has presented widely and offered retreats on a variety of topics. Her theological interests include Scripture, spirituality, women in the Church, Catholic identity and the intersection between pastoral practice and theological method.

 

Marian completed her doctor of Ministry degree at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with a focus on adult faith formation in a diverse cultural context.  She founded and directed the program for lay ministry formation for the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida. In addition, she directed two grants funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. to promote the theological discernment of vocation among college students, faculty, staff and alumni at the College of St. Benedict/Saint John’s University.

 

She participated in the initial Roundtable on Catholic Identity and Mission in Catholic Higher education at Boston College. Locally, Marian currently serves on the Archdiocesan Encyclical Working Group that supports the work of the implementation of *Laudato Si’*. Marian is a member of the Association of Graduate Programs in Ministry. She has four children.
