Job Summary

Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, a two-site Catholic Parish in Antioch and Ingleside, IL, in Northern Lake County, is seeking a Music Minister, a skilled organist or pianist, to lead our St. Bede Church (Ingleside) parishioners during our weekend masses.
Our Saturday mass is at 5:30 pm, and Sunday masses are at 8:00 am and 11:00 am. The Minister will have the support of our Music Director and parish staff to plan the music liturgies.

Essential Job Functions
• Be available to lead the scheduled weekend masses’ music as an integral part of the liturgies.
• Ensure that music complies with the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Chicago policies.

Requirements:
Job Requirements
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Some level of previous experience participating in parish music ministry.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with Church liturgical music in all forms

Preferred Job Skills and Experience
• Open to ongoing formation/education as needed.
• Familiarity with technology used for communicating and presenting.
