“Every vocation is a summons not to stand on the shore, nets in hand, but to follow Jesus on the path he has marked out for us, for our own happiness and for the good of those around us.”

Engaging Our Diversity: Interculturality and Consecrated Life

The Center for the Study of Consecrated Life had led a three year program centered on the theme and call of Interculturality. For three years, teams of representatives from over 20 congregations have been participating in a train-the trainer program on “Engaging Our Diversity: Interculturality and Consecrated Life Today” and then initiating programs on these topics for their congregations. Topics have included, among others, Community-building, Leadership, Dialogue, Conflict Resolution, Formation Ministry and Spirituality. View more.

We are grateful to the Hilton Foundation and their Catholic Sisters Initiative for supporting this important work.

Lectures and Discussions

Our speakers were from around the globe as well as CTU faculty.  The presenters included academics as well as practitioners who engaged with us on various dimensions of our common call toward interculturality. The presentations can be used with individuals as well as congregations. They can be incorporated into gatherings for persons new to consecrated life, formation ministry teams, leadership teams and provinces as well as congregations. Included here are a variety of lectures and presentations related to consecrated life we think would be of interest to you from our different programs.

So in addition to a number of lectures related to Interculturality you will also find other topics related to consecrated life today
