Heavenly Father, Thank You for Pope Leo X1V. Gratitude is what we express at the gift of the Holy Pontiff. Father, we ask you to continue to cover, guide, lead and protect him as he leads your church in this groaning world. Holy Spirit grant him your gifts of wisdom and deep discernment. Blessed Jesus, we pray this in Your mighty name. Amen

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide you, grant you to strength to speak truth to power, and the courage to continue leading through contextual pastoral ministry.

Ever-loving and Gracious God,

We ask you to pour abundantly into the heart of Your servant Pope Leo IV
the tender love and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the wisdom and strength of the Holy Spirit.

Guide him to lead Your holy church,
Christ’s Mystical Body, into deeper and deeper unity amidst diversity,
and help him, along with his brother bishops,
to find renewed structures to empower all the baptized
to bring Your healing love into all the broken places of our world.

Sustain him and refresh him daily with abundant joy and peace of heart
as he shoulders the awesome responsibilities of the role You have entrusted to him.
We ask for these blessings and graces through Christ our Risen and Redeeming Lord. Amen.
