SPIRITUALITY AND IDENTITY IN AFRICAN TRADITIONAL RELIGIONS: Healing African and Black Communities in Diaspora and Worldwide, a lecture by Modeste Malu Nyimi, Ph.D. Professor of Theology and African Religions at the Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta University.
The Tolton Pastoral Ministry Program at Catholic Theological Union is a unique academic, scholarship, formation and mentoring program that prepares Black Catholic women and men for ministerial leadership in the Church.
The Augustus Tolton Pastoral Ministry Program hosts the Sankofa Lecture: "Doing Oral History: The Story of the Sisters of the Holy Family," presented by Orida Edwards, J.D., Th.M., professor at Xavier University of Louisiana. Each year, the Sankofa Lecture focuses on Black Catholic history.
