CTU encourages students to experience and study theology through the lens of other cultures both in the classroom and Hyde Park and around the world. Students may also choose to take their learning overseas through one of our Biblical Study and Travel Programs. Led by the faculty of the Biblical Literature and Languages department, these experiences both deepen the student's understanding of the Bible and foster spiritual growth. The annual Fall Program is a time of study and exploration of biblical and historical sites in Greece, Turkey, Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Jordan, and Egypt. Other trips include the two-week Israel and Jordan Program and the Holy Land Retreat.
